Blinding diseases are diseases or conditions that cause partial or total loss of vision.

What is blindness?

Blindness is a complete or partial loss of vision. Many causes of blindness exist, including certain eye diseases, diabetes and accidents.

Through its programs, OPC addresses blinding diseases that have been designated priority diseases by the World Health Organization.
