Collective actions in the global fight against blindness
OPC highly values collaboration and partnerships, understanding that when we work together, we strengthen our collective actions in the global fight against blindness.
OPC works with governments, Ministries of Health, international NGOs, local civil society organizations, eye health care professionals on the ground and many others, bridging the gaps between these different stakeholders and ensuring that local voices are heard at the international level.
Our successful program outcomes are a testament to the partnerships we’ve built over four decades.
OPC is proud to be in an official working relationship with the World Health Organization since 2000. OPC is an active member of international networks, like International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), International Coalition for Trachoma Control (ICTC), and the Alliance for the Global Elimination of Blinding Trachoma (GET).
Institutional, foundation and individual donors are also incredibly important OPC partners, making possible the work we do to fight avoidable blindness and empower Francophone Africans through sustainable access to sight.
